Where do I even begin to tell you about Cassie and Pete's wedding?
I mean, it's been a while, and I've sucked at blogging, because, you know, time. Anyway, let's move on to the good stuff!
Cassie and Pete are actually old friends for Brian & me. We've known Cassie for what feels like forever (and brian knew her before I did!). We go way back, I guess. Cassie and Pete live in Boston, and we go visit them pretty much every year during the winter. Imagine my utter delight when Cassie announced one day that in addition to our annual visit, we'd be attending their wedding. Oh, and I'd be photographing it.
So Cassie and Pete got married. It was wonderful. Prior to the ceremony we piled into a limo and had a photo adventure all over downtown Boston. I have to applaud Cassie and Pete and their wedding party (especially the ladies) for humoring me and braving the freezing cold (to a Californian anyway) wind chill and happily wandering around the streets of downtown. They were real troopers, and we were able to get a ton of really rad photos. The wedding itself was at a place called Springstep in Medford, MA, which was awesome as well. It was full of color and had a really fun vibe to it.
There was a delicious dinner, hilarious and heartfelt speeches, and, just as I expected, a super fun dance party to end the night. Good times were had by all.
I keep trying to convince them that they should get re-married every year when we visit, but so far, it no plans have been confirmed...
