After nearly a decade of dating, Cynthia and Marcos were married in a lovely spring wedding in May. Their ceremony and reception were both at Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center in Fallbrook, California in northern San Diego County. This was my first time photographing an event at Wedgewood, and normally I am a little skeptical of wedding venues that exist only to hold weddings. A lot of times they can be... well... boring. Wedgewood was not. It is part of a beautiful golf course, and the ceremony and reception areas were both beautifully decorated, tranquil, and separate enough from the golf course that you didn't feel like you were really at a golf course. It was a great place for them to get married!
Marcos and Cynthia both have simple tastes, and they opted for streamlined decor using shades of purples and grays to tie it all together. Their ceremony was recited in both English and Spanish so that all of their guests could fully be part of the experience of their marriage. Their short and sweet ceremony was followed by a fun reception that featured a lot of dancing, a fun photobooth, and overall a great time!
