Wow. I had such a great time working with Cynthia and Marcos for their engagement session last weekend. They decided that La Jolla Cove was the perfect place for them, so off we went! We were very lucky because we had the opportunity to shoot in several different places througout the area and the light was changing so very quickly that we got a lot of different and unique lighting effect. The result was a bunch of fun photos, all with their very own look and feel. I love that Cynthia and Marcos ended up with a few different options in terms of styles for their finished photos, that's always great!
I honestly feel so blessed to be able to say that my couples are typically people that I would hang out with outside of "working" at any given time. I had a genuinely fun time in my hour-or-so with Cynthia and Marcos. We strolled around the cove, caught up with eachother about things that have been going on since we last saw eachother at our consultation, and chatted about hour holidays with our own families. It was like spending time with old friends! Old friends who I talked to with a camera attached to my face, maybe, but friends, nonetheless. a perfect balance of friendship and business makes my job so enjoyable! I can't wait to spend time with them in the Spring for their wedding!
