Elaine and Will's Coronado Engagement Session
/I'm excited to finally have a minute to sit down and write about Elaine and Will's engagement session in Coronado! Originally we had planned to go to Disneyland because that's where they had their first date. Our trip down Main Street didn't happen, but for a very good reason! A couple days before their session, Elaine let me know that we'd have to change our session plans to a local location because her sister was due to give birth any time, and she wanted to be close by just in case. Well, the morning of our session together, the baby was born! Woohoo! The morning's happy events added to their smiles throughout the session. We decided instead to head over to Coronado. We spent some time at the ferry landing and played on the public docks there. The skies were clear and the views of the San Diego skyline were amazing! It was especially special to me that day because I was packing up and getting ready to move a few days later, so the views of San Diego made my heart happy. The waves were rocking pretty heavily while we were there, but that didn't stop Elaine from showing off her dance skills on her dock! Now, I know if I ever tried the leaps and skips she and Will performed, I'd for sure end up in the bay. Eek!
Afterwards, we went over to a fun park where Elaine and Will had no trouble recalling their inner child and playing on the swings and slides. Always a good time!
Elaine and Will will be married in August... After hearing about how well their plans have been going so far, I can't wait to see how it all comes together! And who knows, maybe we'll make to to Disneyland for a post wedding sesh? ;)
