Nellie and Jeff's Jellied By The Sea Wedding

When I got to Nellie and Jeff's wedding site, I was a little confused. I saw a banner that said "Nellie and Jeff Jellied By The Sea" My first reaction was "Whaaaaaat?" And then I got it. Nelly + Jeff = JELLY. Their marriage sigifies their union, so they were getting "jellied." Aha! And the guest favors, which I thought were just cute jars of hand-made jelly, suddenly made a lot more sense too!

Nellie and Jeff were "jellied" at the Martin Johnson House at UCSD (La Jolla, California) on a bright an sunny day in April. Seriously, it was one of the sunniest, warmest, brightest days of any April I can ever remember! It made their early afternoon wedding a bit of a challange as the sun was directly overhead, and the heat was at it's very peak. But we all made it through without melting too much! The ceremony was lovely, including a family friend performing a song for the couple, and words of encouragement from Nellie's grandmother. The reception was relaxed, casual, and intimate. Nellie and Jeff performed an awesome first dance together that I know they worked hard on, and they had so much fun showing off their moves. It was a great day! Congratulations to Nellie and Jeff!
